TurkDMC creates, designs and oversees bespoke travel programmes for private travellers, corporate groups and special events. Every programme is by and supported through TÜRSAB-licensed partners operating across the country.
The Idea, and the Company Behind It
TurkDMC began as an irritation we couldn't put down. We'd watched too many well-planned journeys come apart in the gaps - a driver at the wrong gate, a guide who never met the traveller beside him, a promise made over dinner in London that no one in Türkiye had heard of by the time the plane landed. Not one failure, always. Just too many hands, and no one holding the thread.
We decided to be that hand. TurkDMC, the Turkish Travel Collective, exists to take a journey as one continuous piece rather than a stack of separate bookings, and to answer, personally, for how it all fits together. That's the whole idea. It's the only one that's ever mattered to us.
TurkDMC is steered by its Architect Rıza Gül and Atilla Tuna - CEO of TurkDMC Brand, and Founder & CEO of both Istanbul Walks and Antonina Turizm, which he built from nothing in 1997. Almost three decades on, these companies remain two very much trusted names in Turkey’s guided-travel world, and he still leads it.
Atilla trained as an art historian, first at Istanbul University, then in graduate study at Istanbul Technical University, and he carries a professional guide's licence of his own - moving comfortably between English, Serbian, Croatian, Macedonian and Turkish. It isn't a credential he keeps in a drawer. He still leads tours himself, a CEO who can still stand in front of a group and teach a city he loves, in their language.
What We're Here For
We've never measured a good service by how much ground it covers, or how many people pass through it in a year, arranging just another traditional tour like every other provider. We measure it by how little stood between you and the place itself and by whether, once you're home, it still feels like something that happened to you, not something you were sold. Costs are discussed openly, once we understand what you have in mind.
How Programmes Are Shaped
Each programme begins with an understanding of your interests, pace, itinerary, timing and preferences. We design the structure, select appropriate guides, transport and accommodation. Oversee each component during your journey. We adjust arrangements as circumstances require. How We Work, Legally and Practically
TurkDMC is the creative identity behind your journey - the idea, the design, the oversight. It is not the entity that contracts with you.
All travel offers, terms, invoicing, and payments are issued and processed exclusively by İstanbul Walks Turizm, part of Antonina Turizm and Travel Company Group - the licensed Turkish DMC operating the TurkDMC brand.
When it's time to confirm a booking or make a payment, you deal directly - and only - with İstanbul Walks Turizm.
We want that to be entirely clear, with no ambiguity: any offer, contract, invoice, or payment request relating to your journey should come from İstanbul Walks or Antonina Turizm and Travel Company Group and from no one else. This is by design. It ensures that commitment made are by and backed by the mother companies.
